Serving Camden and Burlington counties as Field Director is Nathan Clark is an Eagle Scout, Vigil Honor, and Three Bead Wood Badge Bear. He joined the profession in 1998 in Iowa where he spent most of his youth. Nathan spent a great portion of his summers on summer camp staff in Nebraska doing just about everything, except Scout Craft. He attained a BA in English from the University of Northern Iowa. During his profession he has worked in Iowa, the U.S.V.I. and Southern New Jersey. Holy Buckets, His claims to fame are playing baseball on the Field of Dreams and a 3 time champion of NPR’s Wait, Wait, and Don’t Tell me.He is an avid horror movie fan and an excellent cook.

Joining the Mahalala team as of September 1st is Christopher Behrends. Christopher is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member. He has spent a great deal of time abroad growing up in a military family and attended High Scout in Soeul South Korea while attended Senton Hill University where he was a member of the Dean’s list for two years and graduated with a B.A. in Music. He is a vocalist and plays the Bass guitar so get the campfire songs and wood badge tunes ready for him.

White Horse District

Rilee Benjamin has been with the former Southern New Jersey Council and Garden State Council since 2006. During that time he has served Old Colony District, staff advisor for Te’kenning Lodge, and Camp Director of Camp Grice Day Camp. Rilee is and Eagle Scout and Vigil honor member. Before working for the BSA he interned with National Park Service, Nationals Forest Service, and Bureau of Indian Affairs. He grew up in Pennsylvania in a Scouting family and spent many summers at some other council’s camp. Rilee will be serving the White Horse District as a Senior District Executive and working from the Rowan Service center.

Gary Copeland is a veteran member of the Boy Scouts of America's professional staff presently serving the Garden State Council as Field Director for our "Shore Field" which covers BaySea and Old Colony Districts consisting of Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties.
Gary has a B.S. from Penn State University and has served the BSA in several different Council's in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts prior to joining the staff of the former Southern New Jersey Council in 2007.He has been a continuous member of the Boy Scouts of America over 50 years, having been a Cub, Scout, and Explorer as a youth. He is the proud father of an Eagle Scout and is a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow

Bill became a Scouter in 1981 when his son joined Marmora Cub Scout Pack 79 where he served in many Cub Scout roles and then as a member of the Troop 79 committee. He continues to serve both units as a member of those committees. His BaySea service began as a unit commissioner and Cub Scout roundtable commissioner. For six years he served as the District Commissioner for BaySea. Since 1990 he has been the BaySea Cub Scout Day Camp Director. He joined the Professional Service in 2000 as the District Executive for BaySea District. During his time with Southern New Jersey Council he has served as the staff adviser for the council’s Advancement Committee and for six years had the privilege of serving as the adviser for the SNJC Commissioner Cabinet. He currently serves as the staff adviser for the Council Training Committee. Bill received the District Award of Merit, the Silver Beaver and is a James E. West recipient and earned his Doctorate in Commissioner Science.
Old Colony District

Chuck joined Scouting as a Tiger Cub with Pack 136 located in Pine Hill NJ and have stayed with Scouting ever since. He was inducted into the OA in 1998 went to the National Jamboree in 2001,served on PHSR Summer Camp and JLT/NYLT Staffs for a few summers. In 2003 he earned his Eagle Scout Rank. Chuck is a graduate of Cabrini College in Radnor, PA with a BA in History.
In April of 2008 he started as the Mahalala District Executive, Burlington County Council. He has served as OA staff advisor and was bestowed the Vigil Honor and the Founders award by Hunnikick 76. Also during his tenure with Mahalala he worked as staff advisor to the 2010 and 2013 Jamborees and completed Woodbadge as a proud Bobwhite. Chuck is looking forward to his new assignment and meeting all the great Scouts and Scouters in Old Colony District.

Serving the counties of Salem and Gloucester, Francis Cincotti is an Eagle Scout and Vigil honor hailing from Millville, NJ. Being involved in scouting since 2002, Francis’s life has revolved around Scouting including multiple NOACs, OA High Adventure, the 2005 and 2010 National Jamborees, and serving as a part of the Roosevelt Scout Reservation Summer Camp Staff for the last eight years, four of them as the Camp Commissioner. An active member of the OA since 2003, Francis has served on the lodge level as a past lodge chief, lodge vice chief, lodge treasurer, and finance chairman. He has also served on a section level from Section NE-5A as a two time Section Secretary, Section Vice Chief and is a Past Section Chief from Section NE-6A.
Francis has two Associate’s Degrees in Public Administration and in Finance Marketing from Cumberland County College and is currently attending Rowan University to attain Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He enjoys outdoor sports and is a diehard Philly Sports fan. Francis serves out of the Riggins Office and is currently serving as a program specialist for the Old Colony District. Eventually, Francis looks to finish his degree to continue his journey into serving the Scout Movement as a full-time professional.
