RSR Ranger Leadership Corps
Attention All Scouts!
The Camp Roosevelt Summer program is still looking for interested youth to join us as a part of the RSR Ranger Leadership Corps for the summer of 2014!
What is the RSR Ranger Program?
The Roosevelt's Rangers Leadership Corps is a program offered at Camp for Scouts who have an interest in joining the Camp Roosevelt Summer Camp Staff in the future.
What does the program entail?
This program provides scouts with the opportunity to be a part of the Roosevelt program staff on a trial basis. Participants in this program will live and work with several program areas during all 5 weeks of program. During their stay, about half of their time will be devoted to assisting in department work. During the other half they may participate in regular camp programs or take merit badges.
Boys participating in this program grow in scouting skills, responsibility, and leadership. The skills they learn will strengthen your troop’s program as well as provide our staff with the opportunity to assess the scout’s potential to return as a full-time Roosevelt staff member.
How old do you need to be to become an RSR Ranger?
If you are 14 years old/ First class and think you might have any interest in becoming part of Roosevelt’s program staff, then Roosevelt Rangers program is for you.
Where do I go to sign up?
For those interested in the program, we will be accepting applicants up until June 13th, 2014. To sign up, please fill out the appropriate application online at the following link:
