The King of the Mountain program is for older Scouts age 15 and up who are at least First Class Scouts. This program will run during week 5 (7/29/12 – 8/4/12) alongside the Camp Roosevelt Summer Program. Eligible Scouts will enroll in the program in advance as a provisional camper. The King of the Mountain Program will run primarily as a separate entity, but will be joining the RSR campers for specific programs throughout the week. After check-in, the Mountain Men for that week will be gathered, formed into patrols, meet their Guides, and hike out to their site. The uniform will be a Mountain Man shirt, which will be provided at camp and is included in the fee for the week. A detailed packing list will be available upon enrollment in the program.
