CUB SCOUT ROUNDTABLE Den and pack Scouters join for fun and fellowship while learning new tricks, stunts, games, crafts, ceremonies, songs, and skits related to the Cub Scout theme and Webelos activity badges for the following month. There are also opportunities for sharing ideas and activities with leaders from other packs. Cub Scouting roundtables are a form of supplemental training for volunteers at the pack level. The objective of roundtables is to give these pack leaders program ideas; information on policy, events, and training opportunities; and an opportunity to share experiences and enjoy fun and fellowship with other Cub Scouting leaders. The roundtable commissioner and staff demonstrate elements of a model meeting that leaders may use as a pattern for their own den and pack meetings. As a result of the roundtable experience, unit leaders will be inspired, motivated, and able to provide a stronger program for their Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, and Webelos Scouts. BALOO'S BUGLE In addition to the BSA provided resources provided at Cub Scout Roundtable, there is a on-line resource called BALOO'S BUGLE which is prepared by Dave Lyons, a scouting volunteer in SNJC. This is an excellent source of info and you can download the current edition by clicking the underlined words. Click on the month for an issue of Baloo's Bugle
