White Horse District Roundtable Meetings -- For all adult leaders!  Second Tuesday of each month, Gathering at 7:00PM; Meeting 7:30-9:00PM Glen Landing Middle School (in the library), 85 Little Gloucester Road, Gloucester Township, NJ (Oct. through May). Pine Hill Scout Reservation (June, August and September). There is no meeting in July The next Roundtable meeting is Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Glen Landing Middle School. The Cub Scout Core Value for this month is Perserverance, the Supplemental Theme is Go West, Young Man. Special Cooking is the theme for Boy Scout leaders. Cub Leaders: Handouts and other supplemental information from the Cub Scout portion of the meeting will be posted as news items on the White Horse District main page. These are important and FUN meetings!! After an informal gathering period, each meeting begins with general announcements which may cover District and Council events, news and updates from the National Council, awards and recognition from the Commissioner staff, guest presentations and special surprises. After the general session, there are break-out meetings for Cub Scout, Boy Scout & Venturing leaders that are designed to help you bring that month’s theme to your unit. You will leave Roundtable with information you can use in your Pack, Troop or Crew right away! Roundtable is also a networking opportunity! Come meet fellow leaders! Share success stories! Hear how other experienced leaders have solved many of the same challenges you are facing! These informal discussions are almost as valuable as the Roundtable meeting itself. Although Roundtable is for every Scout Leader, every Unit is strongly encouraged to send at least one representative.
