Summer Camp Advancement Reports
We want leaders and parent to realize that the Cub Scout Summer Camping Opportunities are not built around completing advancements. The true purpose of these activities is to promote fun and adventure with a purpose— the reason why Cub Scouts join and why they remain Cub Scouts.
We strive to offer a fun experience and extend the participant’s Scouting engagement. The purpose is not advancement. If advancement happens as part of a fun, engaging program, great! But it is not the focus of camp.
That being said, there are several opportunities to complete requirements at camp. Below are links to the advancement reports for each week of day camp at Pine Hill and Pine Tree. These advancement reports were sent home in the packet each camper received with his/her camp certificate, den picture, and camp patch.
There is also a report for Tiger Twilight Camp which was not sent home with the participants.
We hope everyone enjoyed camp and we look forward to the 2019 Camping Season!
If you have any questions about these reports, please contact Camp Director, Janet Boris (Janet.Boris@Scouting.org) and she will direct you to the appropriate program director.
