Join Garden State Council, Scouting America, as we honor exceptional leaders who embody the values of Scouting – leadership, service, and integrity. The Distinguished Citizens Award Reception is a celebration of individuals who have made significant contributions to Camden & Gloucester Counties through business, civic engagement, and philanthropy.

2025 Honorees

Christina M. Renna

Camden County

Christina Renna is President & CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, where she leads a team dedicated to public policy, workforce development, and member engagement. Since rejoining the Chamber in 2014, she has advanced through leadership roles, becoming CEO in 2020. Her career also includes service in the Office of Governor Chris Christie as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. Recognized as one of New Jersey’s most influential business leaders by NJBIZ and ROI-NJ, she also serves on nonprofit boards and is one of only 100 executives nationwide on the U.S. Chamber’s CCC100 Committee. A Vineland native, she holds degrees from Saint Joseph’s University and Villanova University

Michael Renna

Camden County

President & CEO, South Jersey Industries, Mike Renna guides South Jersey Industries in delivering reliable service to more than 725,000 customers while advancing innovation in clean energy. He is equally dedicated to community leadership, serving on boards such as Junior Achievement of NJ, NJBIA, and The Hun School of Princeton, where he promotes education, economic growth, and service.

William T. Hoffman

Gloucester County

Bill Hoffman is President & CEO of Hoffman’s Exterminating, which he
founded in 1990 with a vision of delivering “quality service with personalized care.” A Certified Entomologist, Bill has grown the company into one of the nation’s Top 100 pest control firms, with six locations across five states and a staff of 100. Dedicated to community as well as business, he serves on numerous boards, including the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey, and is recognized for his commitment to public health, environmental stewardship, and strong family values in business
