DISTRICT COMMISSIONER STAFF -- Providing "hands-on" personal service and support for individual Units.

District Commissioner Staff Meetings (led by the District Commissioners) are held the first Mondays (usually) at 7PM -- 1st Baptist Church of Haddonfield, 124 Kings Hwy East.  Unit Commissioners should be prepared to bring updates and present a report regarding their assigned Unit.  Are you interested in being a commissioner?  Share your love of scouting and your experience with other units.  If you are interested or know someone who would be, please contact our Assistant District Commissioner Milton Smith.

The White Horse District has lost another one of our own recently, District Commissioner Emmett Ross.  Emmett was a kind hearted soul who helped many organizations, but his heart belonged to Scouting.  His dedication to the program and especially to the youth of the White Horse District will be missed.  Emmett was an avid fisherman, and spent much of his free time helping Scouts to learn how to fish in events such as Cub FUN Day and The WHD Fishing Derby.  In his honor, and with the permission of his spouse Josephine, Eagle Scout son Charles, and daughter Katie, we are renaming that event the Emmett W. Ross Memorial Fishing Derby. Thank you Emmett and rest well!

Upcoming District Events:
