LOST LEGENDS Scouts BSA Resident Camp at Joseph A. Citta Scout Reservation (CSR), Jersey Shore Council
Get the traditional resident camp experience (large lake, 70+ merit badges, etc.) for your Troop at CSR this summer and look for “Lost Legends” including New Jersey’s official cryptid, the Jersey Devil. Garden State Council Troops will enjoy “in council” pricing at this neighboring Jersey Shore Council camp.
Citta has 3 weeks in July to choose from. Among the unique features of their program is a “3D Archery” course as well as “cowboy action” range.
Tall Tale Adventures Webelos Adventure Camp June 30th-July 3rd 2024
Are your Scouts ready for the next step in camping? Webelos Adventure Camp is an action-packed resident camping experience that prepares your scouts for their transition to Scouts, BSA! Webelos participate in exciting activities from swimming, to climbing and will work on their Webelo/AOL Adventures.
Our new collaboration with Washington Crossing Council
Summer camp is a critically important mission delivery experience in Scouting. Scouts who attend summer camp foster needed life skills like teamwork, self-reliance, and problem-solving through hands-on experiences with nature, new activities, and group challenges. Scouts who attend summer camp typically earn more merit badges, advance higher in rank, and take on more leadership roles in a Troop.
Summer camp provides a setting where Scouts can reinforce core values by living them daily, build confidence through accomplishing new tasks, and form strong friendships and lasting memories. The Garden State Council believes all Scouts should participate in a high-quality summer camp experience and that’s why the Council is partnering with the Washington Crossing Council. Through this collaboration, the GSC has named Scout Reservation as its preferred resident camp for Scouts BSA Troops this summer and for years to come. This partnership strengthens our commitment to delivering the very best outdoor experiences for our Scouts.
